"Black Petals Fallen" Reaches Number 4

Voltaire’s Ghost announced on Friday that the band’s latest single, “Black Petals Fallen” has reached to No. 4 on the indie chart Upcoming 300 in only its second week of release.

This makes the fifth consecutive charting single for the Western Colorado-based Goth/Alt Rock band. The previous single, last October’s “Spirit Animal, had also charted, peaking at No. 37 on the Mediabase Top 40 Radio Chart for the week ending January 10.

Last summer’s “Alix Street” and last winter’s “Death Becomes You” had both also hit the Top 40 on US radio, while the StoneBridge remix of “Death Becomes You” reached No. 5 on the UK Commercial Pop Chart last summer.

“So grateful,” reminisced Magnus, the band’s founder and guitarist. “Ruby, Josh and I are just so thankful to all the DJ’s and listeners who are giving ‘Black Petals a spin.”

“Black Petals Fallen” is available for streaming on all major platforms, with a companion music video to debut shortly, said Magnus.
