Magnus and Ruby recently joined filmmaker Meosha Bean on Creator to Creators for a conversation that covered a lot of ground — the song, the album, love, death, and everything in between.
They got into why love and death keep showing up in the music, what keeps the band going, and how 'Till The Break of Day actually came together over two years of recording. Magnus also shared where the song originally came from — writing the lyrics on a plane at 6am in Bucharest, leaving someone behind.
"The final scene was me on a plane in Bucharest at 6:00 in the morning, starting to write the lyrics as the plane took off. And leaving her behind."
That's the whole song right there.
The full episode is below. Worth the full watch.
