Voltaire's Ghost
Three Top 40 Hits. Two Countries. One year.
2025 has been another banner year for Voltaire's Ghost, a Colorado-based Goth and Alternative Rock band.

The band was a Semi Finalist in the nationwide music contest co-sponsored by Rolling Stone magazine, America's Next Top Hitmaker. Out of over 70,000 original contestants, Voltaire's Ghost was chosen to be one of the few remaining bands before being eliminated on July 24th. The band's placement in the contest was profiled by KJCT Channel 8 News in Grand Junction, CO and the Chicago Journal, among other outlets.

And no wonder: Voltaire's Ghost has already been making hits. In February 2025, "Death Becomes You" exploded onto the Mediabase Top 40 Radio Chart before peaking at NO. 39 the week ending April 19th. "Death Becomes You," produced by Nashville legend Dean Miller, is a sinewy and seductive single narrated by a female vampire pleading with her human lover to join her in immortality.

A remix of "Death Becomes You" by Grammy-nominated producer, DJ and Sirius XM host StoneBridge later reached No. 5 on the UK Commercial Pop Chart. The StoneBridge remix was released on the band's own label, the newly-formed NEMESIS Records.

But the band wasn't finished with American radio. On May 27th they unleashed "Alix Street," a banger set on bubbling Bourbon Street. "Alix Street" reached No. 35 on the Mediabase chart for the week ending August 16th, the band's second entry into the US Top 40 in less than a year.

The band is currently hard at work on its full-length album "Black Petals Fallen." Recorded at Fusion Audio Solutions in Grand Junction, CO and mixed in LA by Grammy-nominated engineer Joe Ayoub, "Black Petals Fallen" contains 13 tracks featuring the band's signature blend of Rock, Gothic and Classical elements. "Spirit Animal," the second single from the album, was released on October 28th.

Also being prepped for re-release is an expanded edition of the band's first EP, "Nemesis," featuring additional bonus and live material.
